Neil Fried founded Railroad Earth in 1997 with Scott Childs, Maurice Clifford, Clark Vreeland and Joel Rives. Neil is the only original member still living at the facility, and is joined by Stephen Dominick (Pii) and Kombo Chapfica. RRE has had about a dozen residents since it inception, and numerous artists-in-residence from around the world.
